Google confirms Pixel 4 design on Twitter
Google takes a surprise strategy this year to combat the rumor mill about its next flagship smartphone by posting an official photo of the phone on Twitter. This is unlike previous years where the Pixel phones were leaked extensively in the months before their official launch.
Shared via the official Twitter account @madebygoogle, Google posted an image revealing the back of the Pixel 4 which confirms that there is a rear square camera bump housing at least two lenses. There is also no sign of a rear fingerprint sensor, which suggests that the Pixel 4 could be using facial recognition technology or an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The official confirmation came shortly after @OnLeaks and Pricebaba shared purported renders of the Pixel 4. The tipster believes there could still be a notch and the phone will ship with 6GB RAM.
