GoGear’s portable audio solutions are now available in Singapore

Geared towards the young audiophile (pun intended) GoGear’s range of portable audio solutions starts with basic in-ear headphones and stretches all the way to over-ear headphones and portable Bluetooth speakers.

Two of the marquee products are the Splash n Dash (S$49.90), a tiny portable Bluetooth speaker that’s splash proof and IPX5 certified, and the Cozy Buds, GoGear’s entry level in-ear headphones solution that costs a mere S$9.90.

The GoGear speakers are waterproof and easily attached to typical bathroom tiles.

3 Way Awesome is on the left and the Double Agent is on the right.

The Splash n Dash has a battery that runs for up to eight hours, and is designed with a suction cup base so you can easily affix it to your bathroom wall to get tunes in the shower. While only being rated at 2W, we felt it did manage to produce playback at a sufficient volume for a small space like the shower stall, so certainly seems an easy way to add more entertainment to your shower. It’s joined by the larger 3 Way Awesome and the Double Agent that cost S$59.90 and S$79.90 respectively.

From left to right: CozyBuds, Tunes, Sparklers, Turbos, Alumies.

The CozyBuds on the other hand, come in four colors – black, blue, red and white – and are powered by a 15mm speaker driver. There’s a one-button remote so you can easily play and pause music, and an in-line microphone so you can take and make calls right from your earphones.

Step up one level to the GoGear Tunes and you’ll get noise isolation and a set of silicone tips in three sizes for an even better fit. And that still only costs S$16.90! The entire in-ear earphone range comprises of five models, with the CozyBuds being the cheapest at S$9.90 and the Alumies the most expensive, though still at just S$29.90.

Bluetooth headsets are also available if you don't want to deal with cables.

There are also Bluetooth headphones and earphones for those who prefer to go wireless for greater freedom, and these cost just S$69.90 each.

The Freerides Bluetooth Earphone has a 10mm driver, a frequency range of 20Hz -20kHz, sensitivity of 107dB, uses Bluetooth version 3.0+ EDR and has a standby time of 100 hours and a music play back time of three hours. It only comes in Black.

The Easy Rider Bluetooth Headphone on the other hand, uses 32mm Neodymium drivers. It too has a frequency range of 20Hz – 20 kHz, but has a sensitivity of 101 dB. It too uses Bluetooth version 3.0+ EDR, but has a standby time of 200 hours and a music play back time of seven hours. This is available in a choice of Black or White.
