Gmail’s new Smart Compose feature will help you autocomplete your emails
Gmail’s major redesign went live just two weeks ago, but Google is still fervently adding features to it. At the Google I/O conference, big G unveiled yet another AI-powered, time-saving feature called Smart Compose.
Smart Compose is basically autocomplete for Gmail. It predicts what you’re going to type next and offers suggestions as you type. See a suitable phrase suggestion? Just hit tab and it’ll auto-populate in the text field.
An extension of Gmail’s Smart Reply feature, which suggests responses based on your received emails, Google says Smart Response will help you type emails faster and reduce the chance of mistyping.
Smart Compose will be available for consumers in the coming few weeks and will be integrated for G Suite customers within the next few months.
