Get your Xiaomi Mi Note a day early with Uber!
Xiaomi Mi Note launching in Singapore on 28th July
The phablet market welcomes another serious contender to the scene. Xiaomi has announced that the 5.7-inch Full HD 1,920 x 1,080 (386ppi) pixels resolution Mi Note will be launching in Singapore on 28th July (next Tuesday) at 12PM on Xiaomi's website, retailing at S$569 for the 64GB version (or you can get it a day early through a one-day special with Uber - see details below).
We had the chance to give it a proper once-over through a nice little review on its merits, and now it’s everyone else’s turn to experience the Chinese-made product.
Joining in the fanfare is Uber and Singtel, with their very own offering together with the Mi Note’s launch. Steve Vickers, General Manager of Xiaomi Southeast Asia, said: “We believe that Mi fans in Singapore will appreciate such high quality innovation made available to them at an incredible price. Our exclusive partnership with Singtel will give customers more value from purchasing Mi Note bundled with one of its mobile plans.”
Uber Flash Sale Collaboration
Xiaomi never fails at generating a sense of thrill when it's about getting their stuff. If you want the Xiaomi Mi Note delivered on-demand to your location, you can use the Uber app to order a unit of the Mi Note.
Simply fire up the Uber app and “Order Mi Note Now” with your current location, and one Uber vehicle will come to you with a Xiaomi Mi Note. The cost of the device will be charged to the credit card number saved within your Uber app. The Uber collaboration is a one-day-only offer that happens on 27th July, a day before the phablet officially retails at the phone-maker’s website. Take heed, there are limited quantities of the phablet up for grabs through this method, so plan well and move fast.
Singtel Exclusive
Singtel will carry the Xiaomi Mi Note on the same day as the official launch of the product (28 July). The phone will be available to postpaid customers through Singtel’s phone plans. The phablet will retail at S$0 if you intend to go for Singtel's Combo 3 Plan, and at S$298 if you are getting their Combo 2 Plan. Singtel will be the only telco carrying the Xiaomi Mi Note.
