In celebration of Singapore’s 57th National Day, Google Pay is launching a special in-app game based on their popular Huat Pals.

From 1 to 14 August 2022, users of Google Pay can win cashback rewards up to S$57 after completing three eligible transactions in Google Pay in Lion City Cake.

Google Pay users will be able to access the Lion City Cake game from the homepage of the app from today.

Users play with the objective of helping an otter family decorate a birthday cake by completing different transactions and actions in the app with iconic landmarks synonymous with Singapore such as Marina Bay Sands, Changi Airport, and the Dragon Playground.

Each action completed grants a chance to the user to win a special voucher from partners such as Deliveroo, Klook, Guardian, Lazada, FairPrice, Irvin’s, Flash Coffee, Ryde, TADA, and KELE.

These actions include:

  • Sending at least S$10 to a friend who is on Google Pay
  • Making a PayNow merchant transaction of at least S$3 on Google Pay
  • Making a FavePay merchant transaction of at least S$3 on Google Pay

Users can also win by taking part in the daily quiz on Singapore. Image source: Google.

After a user completes all three of these actions, they will win a cashback voucher between S$1.57 to S$57.

Users can receive an extra voucher by taking part in a daily quiz on Singapore and answering at least three out of five questions correctly.
