Gamer's Guild, Singapore's largest console gaming centre with 300 titles, opens at Bugis+

With 25 Nintendo Switches and PS5s each, EVO Amusement might be right to call it a console stadium.

Consoles are getting more expensive, and the prices for the games themselves are becoming harder to swallow. But if you're looking to game on a console and want a large library of titles to choose from, EVO Amusement is tackling just that, as it opens Gamer's Guild, a console gaming centre in the heart of town.

As an entertainment company, EVO Amusement typically operates smaller scale affairs, bringing in the Pokemon Ga-Ole arcade stations that you usually see in malls and near game stores, as well as a Labubu Claw Machine pop-up.

But Gamer's Guild is decidedly larger, with EVO Amusement calling it the largest console esports stadium in Singapore. It has the numbers to back it up, too; there are 50 consoles in total, 25 Nintendo Switches and 25 PS5s to be specific. EVO Amusement notes that this is the biggest amount of consoles installed in a single store in the country.

Apart from that, there's also a driving simulation rig, utilising a Next Level Racing cockpit and Thrustmaster wheel, as well as nine private rooms. EVO Amusement also plans for Gamer's Guild to host various anime and gaming pop-ups. In fact, there's one pop-up going on right now for the Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage! movie, A Miku Who Can't Sing, which will run until 29 June.

All in all, you'll find 300 games at Gamer's Guild ranging from single-player to co-op, with plans to add more titles. These include games that are suitable for those as young as three, which is worth thinking about if you're looking for a family hangout spot. If the thought of trying out 300 different games on a weekend afternoon sounds enticing, you can find Gamer's Guild at #5-05 Bugis+.
