Bixby Voice, a core feature of Samsung's virtual assistant on the Galaxy S8/S8+, is finally available for consumers in South Korea.

ZDNet noted that the voice command feature was rolled out yesterday at noon in South Korea after Galaxy S8/S8+ users received a notice in the morning. With the roll-out in its home market, it is likely that Samsung will bring Bixby Voice to global markets in the coming weeks although the official word is "later this spring".

When Bixby Voice is available on the Galaxy S8/S8+, you can ask Bixby to execute tasks such as searching the Internet, playing songs, dimming the screen, turning on Wi-Fi, with just your voice. For now, Galaxy S8/S8+ users can rely on the Google Assistant to do these things.
