Galaxy Note7's launch in some countries delayed due to overwhelming demand

Samsung has another hit - the Galaxy Note7 - on its hands as it faces "a global supply constraint in meeting the demands of market launches".

Apparently, pre-order demand for the Galaxy Note 7 is so high that launches in several countries have to be delayed. Samsung has rescheduled the launches in Malaysia, Russia and Ukraine to September. For now, it seems like consumers in Singapore are still getting their devices on 19th August if they pre-ordered successfully or on the 20th August for islandwide availability.

The Galaxy S7 edge is estimated by Strategy Analytics to be the best selling Android phone in the first half of this year. We reckon that the Galaxy Note7 will be equally successful for the second half of the year.
