Galaxy Note 9 to be available two weeks after launch?
Samsung is holding a launch event for the Galaxy Note 9 on 9 August and the handset could be available for purchase two weeks later.
ETNews claimed to have received information from Samsung and cellular network officials that the Galaxy Note 9 will hit retail shelves in South Korea on 24 August. If true, this year's launch is about three weeks earlier than the Galaxy Note8 which went on sale on 15 September.
Since Singapore is typically among the first batch of countries to sell the latest Samsung flagship phones, you can expect the Galaxy Note 9 to be available for purchase on the same day or earlier for customers who pre-order from Samsung and its retail partners.
The publication reiterated earlier rumors on the specs of the Galaxy Note 9 which include Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, a 4,000mAh battery, dual 12MP cameras on the rear, and a S Pen with Bluetooth connectivity to control home appliances and act as a shutter button for the camera.
