The Frogman is one of G-Shock's most recognisable models and there's now an analogue version.

It's called the GWF-A1000 and it's Casio first-ever analogue Frogman.

At its heart, the new Frogman GWF-A1000 is an ISO-certified 200-metre dive watch and it features a carbon fibre-reinforced monocoque resin case. Casio says the case provides the strength of steel but only at a fraction of the weight.

The dial contains subdials for a second timezone on the left and a date and mode indicator on the right.

And since the Frogman was designed for diving, the new GWF-A1000 features a dedicated Diving Mode that tracks dive times and surface intervals.

There's also a Tide Mode that shows if its high or low tide at some of the world's major diving spots.

To make it easy for owners to access all these functions, the Frogman GWF-A1000 features Bluetooth connectivity, allowing users to configure and set up their watches on their phones.

Like most high-end G-Shocks, the Frogman GWF-A1000 supports Multi Band 6 radio-controlled timekeeping technology and also Tough Solar charging.

Unfortunately, we don't have a price for the Frogman GWF-A1000 yet. But what we do know is that it will be available in G-Shock boutiques sometime in July 2020. We will update this article once we have pricing details.

Update on 10 July 2020: The G-Shock Frogman GWF-A1000 is available now and is priced at S$1,099. It is available in three colorways: black, navy blue, and red.
