Future software update could allow pairing of Apple Watch to multiple devices
The Apple Watch could pair to more than one Apple device with a future software update.
Based on a tweet from @analyst941, a future Apple Watch could be synced across multiple Apple devices including the iPad and Mac. While the tipster is unsure how this is achieved, it is likely via a software update or iCloud syncing.
The Apple Watch currently can only pair with one iPhone. Multiple Apple Watches can also be paired to the same iPhone, but there is no syncing with other devices in the Apple ecosystem.
Apple is holding its annual developer conference, WWDC, from 5 June to 9 June where it will unveil the "latest iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS advancements." The upcoming watchOS 10 is rumoured to have a huge revamp of the user interface which could include a new home screen layout and folders.
