In May, Fujifilm released Fujifilm X Webcam, a utility that turns nine of its X and GFX series cameras into webcams for streaming. First available for Windows PCs, Fujifilm X Webcam came to the Mac in July.

Fast-forward a few months and Fujifilm has now bumped the tool to version 2.0 (via DPReview).

According to the release notes, the biggest improvement in this new version (available for both Windows 10 and macOS out of the gate this time) is the inclusion of a settings control window so that you can make quick adjustments to settings such as film simulations, exposure compensation, white balance, digital zoom, colour temperature and more — without the need to unplug the camera from the computer.

All cameras that work in v1 will continue to work in v2. They are:

  • GFX100
  • GFX 50S, GFX 50R
  • X-H1
  • X-Pro2
  • X-Pro3
  • X-T2
  • X-T3
  • X-T4
