After Canon, Fujifilm has also released a piece of software that lets you turn its cameras into webcams.

Called Fujifilm X Webcam, this Windows-only app is compatible with the following Fujifilm cameras:

  • GFX100
  • GFX 50S
  • GFX 50R
  • X-H1
  • X-Pro2
  • X-Pro3
  • X-T2
  • X-T3
  • X-T4

Naturally, the point of using a digital camera as opposed to a webcam for video conferencing is to get a higher image quality with the bigger sensor and better lenses. Fujifilm says its popular Film Simulation modes also work here, good news if you’re chasing for that vivid Velvia look in one meeting and then a soft Astia mood in the next.
