It looks like OnePlus wouldn't be the only flagship killer in town soon.

Poco, a sub-brand of Xiaomi, will be bringing the Poco F2 Pro to Singapore. Their latest flagship-level smartphone packs a top-end, 5G-ready Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor (that's the same chipset as the ones found in OnePlus 8 series and Oppo Find X2 Pro). Other flagship-level features and specs include its LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, in-display fingerprint sensor, and a massive 4,700mAh battery with 30W fast-charging capability.

The Poco F2 Pro comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display rated at 2,400 x 1,080 pixels resolution. A key feature for the F2 Pro's display is the high contrast ratio (5,000,000:1) and high maximum brightness (500-nits typical, 800-nits High Brightness Mode), on top of HDR10+ compatibility.

It's also no slouch in the photography department either. The Poco F2 Pro offers a quad rear camera configuration. Leading the pack is a 64MP main camera backed by a Sony IMX686 sensor (also found on the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite), accompanied by a 13MP ultra-wide angle lens (with 123° FOV), a 5MP 'telemacro' camera and a 2MP depth sensor for bokeh shots. Poco F2 Pro also packs a 20MP pop-up front camera, too.

"We're extremely excited to announce the arrival of the Poco F2 Pro in Singapore, our flagship killer that has become a fan favourite. We have created a smartphone that has improved from the near-perfect Poco F1, that delivers unbelievable performance, focusing on the core innovations that truly matter, which we believe will resonate with tech enthusiasts. The new powerhouse will be available at an irresistible price tag, echoing our mission to make amazing products available to everyone at honest pricing," said Nicolas Shi, Country Manager of Malaysia and Singapore at Xiaomi.

The Poco F2 Pro (8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage) is priced at S$899 on platforms such as Singtel, Lazada, Shopee, and Qoo10, as well as authorised Mi Stores and other official retailers here.
