Witchcraft!
The first trailer for the next installment of the Dark Pictures Anthology, titled Little Hope takes players to a spooky town with a shadowy history. This game comes from the creators of Until Dawn, and serves as a follow-up to the first Dark Pictures game - Man of Medan.
Watch the trailer:
While Man of Medan took place on a haunted ghost ship, Little Hope is set in a small town with a history steeped in witch murders - back when horrible people would accuse innocents of being witches, and do awful things to stop them. It’s a dark enough setting for a horror game, that’s for sure.
Man of Medan put players in control of multiple characters, giving them choices to make as the game progressed. These choices had consequences, and would shape how the story unfolded. It also had some really great multiplayer options, allowing friends and family to play the game together in co-op and online multiplayer.
Developer Supermassive has eight games planned for their Dark Pictures Anthology, this being the second in the series. The game is set to come out in Summer 2020 on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Hopefully, it turns out better than Man of Medan did.
