The latest version of Firefox adds total cookie protection and multiple picture-in-picture
Mozilla has just dropped a new version of Firefox that includes some interesting new features.
Readers concerned about websites tracking their online activities will be happy to know that the latest version – Firefox 86 – will include a new security feature called Total Cookie Protection.
Total Cookie Protection prevents cookies from tracking users by creating a separate cookie jar for each website. This means websites cannot share cookies and cannot see your activities on other sites.
You can read more about how Total Cookie Protection works here.
Additionally, Firefox 86 will allow users to create multiple picture-in-picture views, enabling users to keep tabs on multiple videos simultaneously.
Firefox 86 is available now for Windows, Macs, and Linux.
