Facebook is finally trialing a Dislike button - sort of

Facebook is trialing a new feature on some Australian and New Zealand accounts that will allow people to "Dislike" comments they disagree with.

The feature isn't exactly the 'thumbs down' button people have been asking for for years, but is more is more of a downvote button, giving users the option to upvote or downvote comments, similar to Reddit.

Facebook says that the button is for voting down comments that are abusive or disrespectful, so that they will not get promoted to the top of a discussion.

No word yet on when the feature will roll out to other countries.
