Here's every announcement and trailer from the latest Nintendo Direct Mini

By Tim Augustin - on 30 Mar 2020, 2:22pm

Smash, Bravely Default 2 and Pokémon!

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s next fighter (June 2020)

The announcement of the next fighter to arrive in Smash always feels like an event. This one, not so much. Yesterday’s Direct Mini announced that the next fighter arriving in June will come from Nintendo’s other fighter - ARMS. I’m just confused with this one. We’ll only learn the fighter’s identity in June, the same month that they will be released.

Bravely Default 2 (Sometime in 2020)

This classic JRPG is a nostalgic throwback to how Final Fantasy games used to look and play. Sure, the chibi character models might throw you off a bit - but that world is beautiful. A free demo is available on the eShop now!

Panzer Dragoon: Remake (Out now)

Sega Saturn’s 1995 classic has been remade, with new visuals and better controls. Time to hear what all the hype is about!

Trials of Mana (April 24)

It’s a good time to be a JRPG fan. This remake of the SNES game is just a month away, but you don’t have to wait that long to actually play it. A demo is out for the game right now!

Pokémon Sword and Shield expansion (June 2020)

Ending the Direct Mini was a sneak peek at Pokémon Sword and Shield’s upcoming expansion, which takes players to the Isle of Armor. Players will battle through one of two martial arts-themed towers and get a legendary Pokémon out of it.

  • King’s Bounty 20 (Sometime in 2020)

  • Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics (June 5)

  • Ninjala (May 27)

  • Star Wars: Episode 1 Racer (Coming soon)

  • Fuser (Sometime in 2020)

  • Elder Scrolls Blades (Sometime in 2020)
