Evernote Ups User Experience for Windows and Chrome

Evernote has presented a whole line of updates, including the new and improved Evernote 5 for Windows Desktop and Evernote Webclipper 6 for Chrome.

Evernote 5 for Windows

With a total of 100 improvements and changes, it strips down to provide intuitive and simple UIs, allowing for fewer distractions and easier browsing and note-creation. Your data becomes easier to get to, and the hassle of digging for information is removed to provide greater focus on the task at hand. Also, users are now able to create reminders on each note, simply by clicking the "alarm clock" icon. Each notebook will automatically generate a to-do list of reminders that you can check off once each task is completed.

The tool that allows you to capture information from any webpage from a Google Chrome browser, is now more efficient and intuitive than before. The panel elegantly slides out from the right, allowing you to clip information and inspiration at a click of a button.

Webclipper 6 has incorporated two main tools: Skitch, the popular annotation tool that lets you highlight a section in an article or write notes in the margins to enrich your personal productivity or communicate effectively to your project team; and Clearly, which allows you to remove all unnecessary elements from an article, making for a better reading experience and professional sharing opportunities.
