Entry-level phone models from Oppo, Vivo and Xiaomi in 2021 could be powered by Samsung's Exynos chipsets.

According to Business Korea, Samsung is planning to provide its Exynos chipsets to Chinese phone makers Xiaomi, Oppo and Vivo next year. This is part of a strategy by the System LSI Business Division to secure more customers after it reduced the supply of Exynos chipsets to the Wireless Business Division as profit margins were low.

As Huawei comes under pressure from tighter U.S trade restrictions, Samsung is expected to secure more chip orders from the Chinese phone makers.
