EK finally has some proper AIO CPU coolers

EK has long been a mainstay among overclocking enthusiasts and those who dabble in custom liquid cooling solutions. However, it generally hasn't had a proper all-in-one solution for those who want a simpler, more hassle-free option – even its Phoenix series of coolers, which it branded as an AIO line, was more accurately a modular series that let you pick separate CPU, GPU, and radiator modules. That's changing now with the announcement of its new EK-AIO family, which comes fully assembled like most other AIO coolers on the market.

They're supposed to be really easy to install too, featuring aluminum rotary fittings that allow for a full range of movement even in tight spaces.

The company is releasing three different coolers, comprising the EK-AIO 120 D-RGB, 240 D-RGB, and 360 D-RGB. Depending on the size, you'll also get between one and three high static pressure EK-Vardar S fans.

The CPU clock will work on all mainstream CPU sockets, including LGA1151 and AM4. However, it doesn't look like there's support for AMD's TR4 or sTRX4.

Elsewhere, the pump ranges in speed from 450 to 2,600RPM and comes with PWM control. The fans are rated between 600 and 2,500RPM, so they should be quite quiet when your system isn't working so hard.

Of course, the EK-AIO coolers also come with addressable RGB lighting, which the company says is compatible with the RGB ecosystems of all the major motherboard manufacturers, including ASUS' Aura Sync and MSI's Mystic Light. The RGB LEDs do have a pretty unique look though, and they're set under a frosted acrylic cover that gives them a vaguely milky effect.

The coolers are expected to ship on 28 February at the following prices (EK is running a 10 per cent pre-order discount):

  • EK-AIO 360 D-RGB - US$139.49 (U.P. US$154.99)
  • EK-AIO 240 D-RGB - US$107.99 (U.P. US$119.99)
  • EK-AIO 120 D-RGB - US$80.99 (UP. US$89.99)
