Dyson has announced the launch of its new wet floor cleaner, the Dyson WashG1. The latest addition to the company’s line of floor cleaning product boasts a 1-litre clean water tank that can handle up to 290m² on a single charge.

The concept of a wet floor cleaner isn’t new, and the Dyson WashG1 isn’t the first to be “engineered to tackle” both wet and dry dirt. But it comes with a unique debris tray in the mop attachment, which has been designed with a 500-micron mesh to separate dirty water from the large debris. This allows dirty water to be collected in a separate 0.8-litre tank, without allowing large debris to pass through the machine.

After use, the WashG1’s self-cleaning mode will purge both rollers with clean water on the highest boost setting to flush the entire system in preparation for the next clean. Dyson says this makes the cleaning process more hygienic and less cumbersome.

In terms of looks, its design seems to be the most elegant I’ve seen as compared to other models in the market too, coloured in Dyson’s Prussian Blue.

The Dyson WashG1 will be available in Singapore by July 2024 on Dyson’s website as well as its Demo stores, for S$1,999 S$999.

Existing Dyson owners will also be eligible for a launch-exclusive reward when purchasing the Dyson WashG1. Sign up here to unlock exclusive benefits and be among the first to know when the Dyson WashG1 arrives in Singapore.
