Dyson has once again nudged the boundaries of hair care technology a bit further with its latest unveiling: the Dyson Airstrait straightener. The Airstrait deviates from the traditional path of using high-heat plates that notoriously contribute to hair damage. Instead, it opts for a novel approach, wielding focused airflow to achieve the feat of straightening hair from a damp state to dry. This method not only promises a healthier mane but Dyson also claims to reduce hair damage by up to 60%.

The design of the Airstrait is quite thoughtful, incorporating diffusers that steer heated air away from the user, allowing for a closer approach to the roots. This detail is crucial in eliminating moisture effectively while keeping the scalp's wellbeing in check.

The aspect of efficiency has been given a front seat without compromising the end goal. Merging the drying and straightening phases into a unified process, the Airstrait offers a significant cut down on the time spent styling. This is great for anyone looking to achieve everything from poker-straight locks to J-Curls, catering to a wide array of hair textures and styles with relative ease.

The Dyson Airstrait straightener comes with a retail price of $799. It will be available at Dyson stores or their e-store from 29 February 2024, and you can sign up here to be notified of the availability.
