Dynabook might seem like a new Notebook brand but it’s actually the same company that invented the Notebook PC back in 1985. Originally known as Toshiba, it was rebranded to Dynabook to keep up with the pace of innovations in the Notebook market. As mentioned earlier, the Portégé X30L-G is tested to the military standard MIL-STD 810G, a series of ten tests that includes Transit Drop, Shock, Vibration, Dust, Humidity amongst others. This Notebook has also been subjected to rigorous and stringent tests such as H.A.L.T (High Accelerated Life Test), drop, spill and pressure tests to ensure it is able to withstand any unfortunate mishaps – so you can focus on your business and never to worry about the everyday bumps when on the move.

Security at its Core
The Portégé X30L-G is built with security at its core to put your mind at ease when it comes to business-critical data, especially for data-sensitive industries. Software security is important and necessary, but it cannot offer the same level of protection that only good ol’ hardware security can. Here’s where the Portégé X30L-G stands out with Dynabook’s own proprietary BIOS. Dynabook is the only Notebook brand in the industry with their own native BIOS – ensuring a BIOS compromise is less likely as compared to when using a BIOS from a third-party source.
Beyond that, additional layers of security such as biometric face and fingerprint authentication, Trusted Platform Module 2.0 (TPM) are also built into the Portégé X30L-G to keep your business data secure.
