Dummy units of iPhone 7s, 7s Plus and 8 confirm new glass back design

A few days ago, tipster Sonny Dickson provided 9to5Mac with photos of a purported iPhone 7s Plus dummy unit. He is back to share more photos, one of which show the iPhone 7s, iPhone 7s Plus and iPhone 8s side by side.

That particular photo is interesting in two ways. First, it confirms that Apple is indeed shifting to a glass back design for the new iPhone models. Second, it refutes rumors of Apple moving the physical Touch ID button to the back of the device which is seen in a leak.

Apple is expected to unveil the three iPhone models next month although the iPhone 8 is said to be available in very limited quantities. The iPhone 8 is also rumored to come with a premium price tag of over US$1,000.
