Following Bloomberg's report of a dual-SIM 6.5-inch iPhone coming this year, KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo shared in his latest investor note that there could be a second iPhone model to support dual SIM.

According to Kuo, Apple is expected to add dual-SIM support for the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone model which could sell between US$650 and US$750. The single-SIM LCD iPhone model is estimated to be priced between US$500 and US$650. The successor to the iPhone X is unlikely to support dual SIM cards.

By including dual-SIM support on the iPhone, Apple could appeal to consumers in China and travelers who often have to switch between carriers. As such, Kuo expects the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone to be the most popular model and estimates sales to hit 100 million units.

Apple is reportedly launching three new iPhone models later this year with Face ID unlocking technology.  Analysts have shared their predictions on the retail prices of the new iPhones; two UBS analysts expect the this year's flagship model to cost more than the iPhone X!
