Dropbox announced that its users can now easily share files up to 100GB.

The new feature is called Dropbox Transfer, and it's touted as an easy way to send files that you don't need to collaborate on. It gives you more control than just sharing a folder as you can see the number of times a transfer was viewed or downloaded. Moreover, files sent via Dropbox Transfer automatically expires after  7 days and receipients are unable to edit the files. A Dropbox account is also not required to access or download a transfer.

The size limit of Dropbox Transfer depends on the plan you have. For the basic (free) account, users can send files up to 100MB. Plus and Business Standard users can send files up to 2GB while Professional and Business Advanced, Enterprise or Education, can send files up to 100GB.

Dropbox Transfer can be carried out from, Dropbox desktop and iOS app. You can customize the design with a background and logo that will appear when receipents view your transfers.
