Last month, Nintendo announced that Dr. Mario World will be available on iOS and Android on July 10. Guess what—the day has arrived, and the game can now be downloaded through the two biggest mobile app stores in the world (links: App Store, Google Play).

For those hearing about Dr. Mario World for the first time, here’s a quick primer. Based on a 1990 game called Dr. Mario, the new Dr. Mario World is an action puzzle game that requires you to match capsules with viruses to make them disappear. Mario isn’t the only doctor on call here, you also have other famous and popular characters such as Peach and Bowser. What about Goomba, Koopa Troopa, and Buzzy Beetle? Well, they’re also in the game as assistants to help your doctors with their unique skills.

Dr. Mario World isn’t just a single-player game—you can also play it with your friends and family around the world. Other modes include a stage mode and versus mode. By rounding up the right combination of doctor and assistants, you get to earn battle points and increase your tier.

Finally, while Dr. Mario World is free to download and start, there are also in-app purchases to aid your progress (Nintendo has to make money, right?). You can buy diamonds, upgrade your tier, and more. Like many other mobile games, you also need a persistent internet connection.
