Diablo IV Beta Server Slam kicks off this weekend with DLSS 3 support

The Diablo IV Beta Server Stress Test is set to commence this coming weekend, May 12-14, across all gaming platforms. This offers gamers an additional opportunity to experience the first act and the expansive icy terrain of Fractured Peaks.

In conjunction with this, NVIDIA has rolled out its latest GeForce Game Ready driver that will aid in the forthcoming Diablo 4 server stress test. It's been announced that those owning the GeForce RTX 40 Series will be able to fully immerse in the game with the DLSS 3 feature enabled. The DLSS 3, a combination of DLSS Super Resolution, NVIDIA Reflex, and Frame Generation, is an AI-powered toolset intended to enhance gaming performance via AI-rendered frames.

Despite the initial confirmation of DLSS 3's availability for Diablo 4's official release on June 6, the surprise 'Server Slam' Beta weekend enables us to witness this technology in one of 2023's most anticipated PC games ahead of its release. This Server Slam event will also showcase an updated game version incorporating various improvements based on player feedback from prior Beta weekends.

This will be the final opportunity for players to earn the Beta Wolf Pack Cosmetic and the newly introduced Mount Trophy rewards.

In related news, NVIDIA and Blizzard have validated the rumored Diablo IV GeForce RTX 40 Series Bundle, now available for purchase. Those who buy qualifying GeForce RTX 4070, 4070 Ti, 4080, and 4090 graphics cards and PCs will be given a digital Diablo IV copy, along with an array of bonus cosmetic items such as:

  • Diablo IV Standard Edition
  • Light-Bearer Mount and Caparison of Faith Mount Armor (Diablo IV)
  • Inarius Wings and Inarius Murloc Pet (Diablo III)
  • Amalgam Rage Mount (World of Warcraft)
  • Umber Winged Darkness Cosmetics Set (Diablo Immortal)
