M1 has announced the launch of FoneCare+ Lite, a device care plan that supports a one-time exchange of enrolled mobile devices for any reason for customers under SIM-Only plans.

For new sign-ups and recontacting subscribers under M1’s 150GB SIM-Only plan at S$18.95 per month, customers will receive free 12 months of FoneCare+ Lite. Under the plan, any new or existing mobile devices, of all supported brands, bought from any retail outlets upon sign up of the SIM-Only plan can be enrolled to FoneCare+ Lite via SmartScan. Subscribers will then be able to submit online service requests 24/7 and receive free doorstep delivery service within 4 hours.

It is applicable to any phone bought from any retail outlet upon signing for M1’s 150GB SIM-Only plan and has a smartphone model that is less than two years from the date it was launched and sold by M1.

M1 says that the key benefits of FoneCare+ Lite include:

  • Device Swap: Enjoy 1 swap in 12 months for the enrolled device, for any reason
  • Speedy Free Delivery: Free delivery right to your doorstep within 4 hours, inclusive of a 6-month warranty
  • One-time access to a separate screen repair service from just S$99 during the 12-month period. With FoneCare+ Lite, customers can also enjoy one-time access to a separate screen repair service during the 12-month period - this can be done through scheduling for a free pickup and delivery. Separate terms and conditions apply.

FoneCare+ Lite is the latest addition to the existing lineup of FoneCare+ plans, which includes FoneCare+ Pro and FoneCare+ and are charged at S$12.01 and S$9.99 a month respectively.
