Dell’s Asset Recovery Service in SG opens up to all businesses

Dell Asset Recovery Services.

In its latest announcement, Dell Technologies said that it is expanding its Asset Recovery Services in Singapore.

This means that any businesses using IT equipment that needs retiring – be it laptops, desktops, servers, accessories, or other peripherals, regardless of brand – can approach Dell for safe disposal, recycling, and recovery.

Asset Recovery Services can be done through an online self-service portal that provides a real-time valuation of the devices being let go for recycling.

Other features of Dell’s disposal services include secured disposal, where Dell provides on-site data sanitation (clearing of data before the device leaves the customer’s facility) and on-site hard drive shredding (physical destruction and recycling of hard drives per local e-waste guidelines).

“As a global company, we take seriously our commitment and opportunities to divert e-waste from landfills. By scaling our services for securely recycling electronics and IT equipment, we are contributing to our ambitious goal to recycle or reuse one device for each one sold by 2030,” said Andy Sim, vice president and managing director, Singapore, Dell Technologies.

The Asset Recovery Services blog is here, while its online portal can be found here.
