New Dell monitor adds touch and Ethernet connectivity to its stable of features
The new Dell 24 Touch USB-C Hub Monitor (P2424HT) is a 23.8-inch touch-enabled monitor with up to 10-points of touch, meaning users can easily annotate, zoom, flick, swipe, drag, pinch and tap with up to ten fingers on the screen at the same time. It also has ethernet connectivity, so users never have to worry about unstable network connections again.
It features a 1,920 x 1,080 FHD IPS display, a 60Hz refresh rate, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, and an articulating stand design so it can transition from a standard upright, normal monitor position, and can also tilt, swivel, slant and raise itself (up to 110 mm) without interfering with cable flow. Protective cushions on the bottom edge protect against bumps when the stand is fully compressed.
Users can get a virtually edge-to-edge view with the three-sided ultra-thin bezel and crisp audio from the built-in top-firing 3W speaker. Plus, Dell’s ComfortView Plus feature helps reduce potentially harmful blue light emissions without colour compromises.
The Dell 24 Touch is also meant to serve as the central device as a productivity hub. To do this, the Dell 24 Touch comes with a USB-C port that offers up to 90W power delivery, a HDMI port, Display Port 1.2, one USB-C 3.2 (downstream) port, audio out, one RJ45 port, two USB-A 3.2 (upstream) ports, and one USB-A 3.2 (downstream) port.
