D-Link Launches Pocket Cloud Router & mydlink-enabled IP Camera

D-link has announced the DIR-506L Pocket Cloud Router and two new mydlink-enabled ip cameras – the DCS-6010L & DCS-7010L.

The DIR-506L Pocket Cloud Router allows owners to share their files and internet connection easily, while on the go. The SharePort Mobile app for both iOS and Android devices allows you to access your videos, music, photos and documents from the hard drive or flash storage drive that is connected to the router’s built-in USB port. It has multiple operating modes - Router, Access Point, Wi-Fi Hot Spot, and Repeater.

Equipped with a durable, rugged housing, the DCS-6010L is a mydlink-enabled IP surveillance system with unconventional fisheye lens and integrated image-processor that provides users with a full 360° view when mounted on a ceiling, floor, or table. Since there are no motoring parts like traditional PTZ models, users can survey an entire room silently and discreetly, with no blind spots or distortion.

Specially built for outdoor use, the DCS-7070L comes with a PoE (Power over Ethernet) capability to simplify deployment without the need for a nearby power outlet. The camera’s powerful IR illuminators and Infrared Cut (ICR) Filter provides visibility of up to 10m even in complete darkness. Its megapixel image sensor gives you high quality snapshots and video with resolutions up to 720p HD.

The D-Link Pocket Cloud Router, DIR-506L will be available from August 2012 at S$89.
The DCS-6010L & DCS-7010L mydlink-enabled IP Camera will be available in September 2012 at S$485 and S$500 respectively.
