Creative releases a trio of speakers that support Amazon’s Alexa

Something slightly different from Creative, the Creative Nova is a portable multi-room speaker with a lifestyle twist. It uses Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for streaming audio, and has a 5-driver bi-amplified system for sound that easily fills any room. The top LED changes colors to suit your desired mood, while the portable form factor lets you easily bring it outdoors too so you can certainly use it to set the mood wherever you may be.

The latest from the Creative Muvo family is the Creative Muvo Genie. This too features Amazon Alexa support, and has a splashproof outer shell so you can enjoy your music in wet weather, at a pool party, or off the beaten track. Connect the Muvo Genie to your smartphone, and you’ll be able to access all of Alexa’s smarts – including controlling compatible smart home devices – all with just your voice.

Finally, the Creative Halo Genie brings the light and sound concept further with LEDs that produce up to 16 million colors.  This has two full-range drivers mounted into a large reflex chamber that are matched with a passive woofer for enhanced bass. This too has Amazon Alexa support, so you’ll simply have to pair it to your smartphone to get Alexa services.

Pricing and availability have yet to be announced, but we'll be sure to update this once we get word.
