The other star of the show was MSI's larger-than-life Big Bang-XPower II. It is a XL-ATX form factor board with an Intel X79 chipset. This board is approximately 25cm wide and measures 34.5cm in height. After overcoming the costs (approximately S$600 for the board alone), the rig builder will need to source for a chassis that is able to fit the board and all its installed components.

According to Mr. Alvin Tan, Sales Manager from Corbell, the MSI N580GTX Twin Frozr II/OC  cards installed on the Big Bang-XPower II had their stock coolers swopped out for custom ones to ensure better cooling.

If you think three is a crowd, four is definitely a tad overcrowded as you can see the last card leaning precariously over the side of the open enclosure of the demonstration setup.

The MSI roadshow was open to the public as well as members of the press. The attendees had opportunity to mingle with staff of Corbell as well as MSI representatives including Miss Kay Chen who presented the top prize which comprised an AMD FX-8150 Bulldozer processor and an accompanying MSI 990FXA-GD80 mainboard to a lucky participant.
