Cooler Master has announced the local availability of the MasterCase Pro 3, the newest addition to its MasterCase series of modular cases. The Pro 3 is actually a smaller version of the MasterCase 5, and Cooler Master wanted to offer the same degree of customization but in a micro-ATX build instead.

The company says it noticed the growing popularity of micro-ATX boards in the community, which meant the demand for more compact cases was growing as well. The MasterCase Pro 3 was thus born, allowing users to build a powerful rig in a highly configurable, modular case that isn’t a lumbering ATX tower.

Like its bigger brother, the MasterCase Pro 3 features Cooler Master’s FreeForm Modular System, which lets users swap various aesthetic elements and allows for adjustable internal layouts and more flexible cooling options.

In addition to removable panels, dust covers, and drive cages, the chassis has a removable internal partition, an extra removable cooling bracket up front, and a sliding clip and click panel that can be shifted to accommodate various hardware layouts.

However, compact doesn’t mean cramped, and the MasterCase Pro 3 has plenty of space for high-end components as well. This includes room for up to two 370mm graphics cards (with the 3.5-inch HDD cage removed), a 280mm liquid-cooling radiator, five fans, and two 3.5-inch HDDs and up to four 2.5-inch SSDs.

One strong point is actually the drive cage design. While the cage can be removed entirely, there isn’t actually a need to as you can simply slide it up on the mounting rails to make space for larger graphics cards.

To cap things off, the case is compatible with Cooler Master’s MasterAccessory ecosystem, which includes add-ons like glass side panels, LED partitions, and graphics card supports.

The MasterCase Pro 3 is available immediately at S$159. The additional accessories can be found on Cooler Master’s online store.
