Cooler Master has announced the MasterBox NR600P, a workstation-focused chassis with dual-processor SSI-EEB motherboard support and hot-swap drive bays for quick storage management. In addition, there's a built-in high-speed SD card slot on the front I/O panel, which should help it appeal to creative professionals who need to quickly transfer media files between devices.

This is a plain, no-nonsense chassis with a focus on accommodating the high-performance hardware that content creators require. For starters, the support for SSI-EEB boards means that it's ready for high-end, server-grade workstations. It also comes with two hot-swap drive bays, which can each hold up to two 2.5-inch SSDs or HDDs. These can be accessed right from the front panel for interchangeable, on-the-fly data retrieval.

The SD card reader provides quick access to files, but it's pointing upward on the top panel of the case, so it might be something of a dust magnet.

Elsewhere, the case comes pre-installed with dual 140mm intake fans on the front, in addition to a single 120mm exhaust fan at the rear. The fine mesh front helps facilitate better airflow, while also filtering out dust. In total, there's support for up to seven 120mm fans and radiator mounts at the front, top, and rear for liquid cooling.

Finally, the front panel cables are grouped in a modular plastic sleeve to allow for easier and faster assembly.

Cooler Master says the NR600P was built to be quite versatile and that it can be adapted to suit different needs. If you require more storage, you can install expandable HDD cages. But if what you need is multiple graphics cards, the HDD cages can then be removed to make way for more GPUs.

The MasterBox NR600P is available to buy now at S$199
