Cooler Master has announced the MasterAir G100M, a low-profile air cooler that, like everything else today, comes decked out in customizable RGB LEDs.

The MasterAir G100M looks unlike any other cooler from Cooler Master, and it’s more akin to an RGB-illuminated flying saucer than anything else. The circular design will blend in with most chassis, and the built-in edge lighting can be configured using software from motherboard makers like ASRock, ASUS, Gigabyte, and MSI.

Alternatively, you can make use of a wired RGB controller included in the box if your motherboard doesn’t support RGB lighting.

The cooler uses Cooler Master’s new “Heat Column” design, which utilizes a 41.2mm copper column that offloads heat to the circular fin array in a similar fashion as a large heat pipe. This copper column and the copper plate that interfaces with the CPU are part of the same unified design, and Cooler Master says this improves the efficiency of heat transfer.

According to the company, this is a two-phase heat transfer process that involves liquid to vapor phase change of a working fluid, which is transferred by the copper powder inside the copper column.

The cooler is rated for a TDP of up to 130W, but it probably isn’t designed to handle high overclocks.

It is outfitted with a 92mm PWM fan, and at just 74.5mm tall, it’ll fit easily into even the smallest of mini-ITX cases.

The MasterAir G100M is available to buy now at S$65.
