Control the New LG Vacuuming Robot with A Smartphone

You no longer have to get off your sofa to clean the house anymore - that is if the new smartphone-controllable LG Roboking VR6180VMC vacuuming robot comes to our sunny island. How the nifty gadget works is that it comes WiFi-ready, and can be controlled from any part of your house using your smartphone. Of course, it can also be controlled remotely. Other features include:

SlashGear - The vacuum produces 18db of sound and is also able to understand some voice commands as well. The vacuum is set for release in Korean September. The robot has several settings for cleaning and can avoid things in its path and fun a zigzag pattern to cover all the area. The voice commands can be spoken from as far as 1.5 meters away from the device.

The gadget comes at a steep price of 899,000 Korean won, or around S$1012.
