The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 is positioned as a mainstream graphics card for the masses. It’s seen as easier on the pocket but still based on the same Turing architecture as its higher-end siblings, i.e., GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, RTX 2080, and RTX 2070. Here’s a look at what’s been available so far from the major manufacturers, based on what we have gleaned from their respective websites.

 

ASUS

ASUS has the current largest offering of eight GeForce RTX 2060 graphics card, and there are four main variants here. i.e., ROG Strix SKUs, Dual SKUs, Turbo series, and Phoenix series. The ROG Strix cards are targeted at PC gamers, overclockers and power users. The cards feature Super Alloy Power II power delivery system and support for Aura Sync. In addition, they have a triplet of dust-resistant wing-blade cooling fans to provide optimal cooling with additional noise.

The Dual SKUs feature a cooling system driven by a pair of wing-blade fans. Due to their improved heatsink design, both ROG Strix and Dual cards require a 2.7-slot footprint.

The Turbo GeForce RTX 2060 6GB GDDR6 feature a blower-style cooling system, with an IP5X dust-resistant, dual-bearing fan.

The ASUS Phoenix GeForce RTX 2060 6GB GDDR6 is a mini-ITX card that’s only 170mm long, touted for long-lasting performance in “tough environments” with its IP5X dust-resistance certification.

 

Galax

Galax doesn’t have any mini-ITX cards in its four-card lineup but it does have one blower-style variant.

The two EX SKUs feature RGB lighting effects and the Galax GeForce RTX 2060 EX White (1-Click OC) is one of the few cards that feature a mostly-white color scheme sans its PCB.

The Galax GeForce RTX 2060 (1-Click OC) comes with a slight overclock, with a boost clock speed at 1695MHz. It features a pair of 90mm cooling fans and the card can be boosted to operate at 1710MHz with its 1-Click OC app.

The Galax GeForce RTX 2060 operates at stock clock speeds, and has a no-frills blower-style cooling system.

Gigabyte

  • Gigabyte Aorus GeForce RTX 2060 Xtreme 6G

Gigabyte has six GeForce RTX 2060 cards and all of them are factory-overclocked. Their top-of-the-line SKU is the Aorus GeForce RTX 2060 Xtreme 6G that requires a 2.7 slot allowance due to its cooling system design that features WindForce Stack Cooling fans.

The rest of their RTX 2060 cards have a much slimmer profile at approximately 40mm but the slimmest one is the Geforce RTX 2060 Mini ITX OC 6G, at 36mm, with a single 90mm “unique blade” cooling fan.

 

MSI

The MSI GeForce RTX 2060 Gaming Z 6G has an aggressive overclocked profile with a boost clock of 1830MHz, which is about 9% higher than rated 1680MHz boost clock speed. It features the new Torx 3.0 cooling fans and its 7th-gen Twin Frozr cooling system.

Moving a rung down, there’s the Venus series with two members, one factory-overclocked variant and a stock rated one. The Venus series will appeal to builders that require a no-frill RTX 2060 card.

The Aero ITX cards are meant for SFF system builders looking for a compact mainstream card, and there's even an OC variant for them to consider.

Palit

Palit has a total of four RTX 2060 cards, and two of them are mini-ITX ones. The GamingPro SKUs are obviously targeted at mainstream PC gamers, but without any RGB LED lighting effects. The Palit GeForce RTX 2060 GamingPro operates at stock clock speeds, a base clock of 1365MHZ, and a boost clock speed of 1680MHz.

The GamingPro OC card is factory-overclocked and boast of a rated boost clock of 1830MHz, a 9% increment over the stock boost clock speed of 1680MHz.

 

Zotac

HK-based Zotac offers two cards; Gaming GeForce RTX 2060 AMP and Gaming GeForce RTX 2060 Twin Fan. The cards are almost identical, at a glance, the AMP variant is factory-overclocked to operate at a boost clock speed of 1800MHz, and it has a LED-lit Zotac logo housed in its fan shroud.

The Twin Fan operates at stock clock speeds and doesn’t have any lighting effects. These differences aside, the two cards are identical.
