ChangiWiFi offers new touchscreen router for travel use in three countries

ChangiWiFi just unveiled a new touchscreen router for overseas data roaming.

The ChangiWiFi router comes with an OLED display that lets you access usage tracking, a troubleshooting guide, network reset, travel and photography tips, and even the Internet. You can also perform network optimisation without having to contact customer service channels for assistance. With upcoming software updates, the new touchscreen router is capable of translating languages.

In terms of connectivity, the ChangiWiFi router supports a bigger range of network providers. It can identify and connect to the network provider with the strongest signal strength. In addition, it supports data speeds of up to 6Gbps.

Equipped with a new energy-efficient battery that has built-in batter-saving mode, the ChangiWiFi router can last up to 8 hours of continuous usage on a single charge. It also has a contingency Changi i-SIM card for emergency use when router issues cannot be resolved. The multiple-use global SIM card can be topped up for multiple trips and kept for future personal use.

The new touchscreen router is currently available for travellers heading to Japan, Taiwan and South Korea. More destinations will progressively be included.

If you are travelling to any of these three destinations within this year, you can stay connected for as low as $4.20 daily using the promo code <HOP420>. You can rent the device online and collect it before your flight at Changi Recommends counters, or have it delivered to your residence with a delivery fee of S$15.
