Brydge just unveiled a new keyboard case with trackpad for the iPad Air and iPad Pro.

The Brydge Air Max+ is a keyboard case with a multi-touch trackpad which delivers a laptop-like experience on the iPad. It comes with an all-in-one SnapFit Case which is MIL-STD-810G certified to protect against drops from as high as 4-foot.

Unlike the Logitech Folio Touch Keyboard which has a Smart Connector, the Air Max+ connects to the iPad via Bluetooth 5.0. Brydge claims the keyboard connects "instantly with zero lag" and provides "a seamless experience just like other Smart Connector-based keyboards".

The Air Max+ also comes with an active antimicrobial ingredient on the case and exterior of the keyboard. It is stated to be effective against harmful bacteria and viruses, and provide ongoing protection for the lifetime of the product.

The Brydge Air Max+ is designed for the 4th-gen iPad Air and 11-inch iPad Pro (1st, 2nd and 3rd-gen). It weighs 840g and comes in black. Battery life is stated to be up to 3 months with 2 hours of usage per day and no backlight. It can be recharged via USB-C.

You can pre-order the Air Max+ for US$149.99 with shipment in June.
