B&O brings BeoPlay A2 Active portable Bluetooth speakers to Singapore

B&O BeoPlay A2 Active.

B&O introduces a new Bluetooth speaker to their lineup, dubbing it the BeoPlay A2 Active. It follows the BeoPlay A2 range, and it comes with new features to keep up with outdoorsy folks

For starters, the BeoPlay 2 Active portable speakers have dust- and splash-resistance design. It comes with two straps made of woven polamide, which offers reliable portability. At 1.1kg (the same weight as its preceding BeoPlay A2), the straps make it easier for users to bring the portable speakers around.

The speaker now uses a USB Type-C charging cable, which B&O claimed faster charging speeds for the device itself. That’s pretty important because it has a lengthy, maximum playtime of 24 hours (like its predecessor), so a faster charger would really cut down on the charging time required. The speaker is also compatible with the BeoPlay app for Android OS, iOS, and Apple Watch OS – you can pair two identical speakers together for an immersive audio setup, along with audio profile customization and adjustments to tone and sound stage.

The BeoPlay A2 Active comes in two colors: Stone Grey or Natural Green. Both different variations also come with a stylish leather strap, inspired by durable watch straps worn by British World War II soldiers. The speakers are retailing now through B&O stores and third party resellers at S$549 each, with the two canvas straps included.
