Although the launch of the English-language version of Bixby Voice is delayed, Samsung is making progress with the AI voice assistant in its home country.

In a press release, Samsung states that Galaxy S8 users who have an account with Shinhan Bank, Woori Bank or KEB Hana Bank in South Korea can use Bixby to check their accounts and make payments. Galaxy S8 users who have an account with Woori Bank can also make currency exchanges with Bixby!

With Bixby, these customers do not need to launch the apps of their respective banks and go through the tedious process manually. It remains to be seen if Samsung will bring similar services to other markets when it launches Bixby in the respective countries.
