A premium leisure airline is the first in the world to offer the Apple Vision Pro as an in-flight entertainment device.

In a press release, Beond states that it will offer the Apple Vision Pro to selected passengers on its flights to Maldives.

Tero Taskila, the Chairman and CEO of Beond, says the Apple Vision Pro is set to "transform the in-flight entertainment experience" and is one of the several steps by the company to deliver "a premium travel experience" to its passengers.

Beond is also working with partners in the Maldives to create "truly amazing footage" of resort destinations and activities."

Beond will roll out flights from Milan, Dubia and Bangkok to the Maldives in mid-2024 and the Apple Vision Pro experience is slated to be introduced in July 2024.

The Apple Vision Pro went on sale in the US earlier this month and reviews are in from the US press and consumers. The general consensus seems to suggest the Apple Vision Pro is an excellent device for watching shows and movies although Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg thinks his Quest 3 headset is an overall better device.

With over 1,000 native apps available for the Apple Vision Pro, we reckon Beond passengers have plenty of apps to try during their flights to the Maldives.
