Belkin's ScreenForce screen protectors for Apple's latest iPhones are now available in Singapore.
These feature tempered glass that can resist scratches from everyday objects such as coins and keys. According to Belkin, its screen protector has a hardness rating of 9H. To give an idea of just how hard that it is, consider that low-carbon steel has a hardness rating of 5H.
That aside, the ScreenForce protectors also have an anti-microbial coating that Belkin claims reduce 99% of bacteria growth on your phone. However, these tests do not include the coronavirus that causes Covid-19.
Still, it's good to know especially since numerous studies say your phone is likely to be many times dirtier than a toilet seat.
Optical quality and feel are also important considerations so these screen protectors are made out of high-quality Japanese glass that doesn't impede your display's colours. Crucially, they also preserve the iPhone's sensitivity and responsiveness to touch inputs.
Lastly, if you are a klutz and not so handy with your hands, you'll be happy to know that an application tray is provided for precise and fuss-free installation of the screen. Belkin also provides a dust removal sticker to help with the process.
I have a set on hand and I was able to install the screen protector on my phone in a matter of minutes. There's no fussing about and second-guessing whether you have applied the screen protector properly. The application tray takes care of all of that.
The Belkin ScreenForce screen protector is available now for the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max, and iPhone 12 Mini and it's priced at S$59.
You can find it on the Belkin Flagship Store on Lazada, the Belkin Official Store on Shopee, Gain City, Singtel shops, StarHub stores, and also Challenger and Hachi.tech. And from now until the end of January, ValueClub members can get the Belkin ScreenForce protector at a special price of S$29.
