Belkin now has a MagSafe mount that lets you use iPhone's Continuity Camera feature with external displays (Updated)

Belkin now makes a dedicated MagSafe iPhone mount for users who want to use Apple's new Continuity Camera feature with an external display.
It's called the "iPhone Mount with MagSafe for Mac desktops and displays." Although its name suggests that it's designed to work with iMacs and Apple displays like the Studio Display, the product listing also says it's "compatible with most external displays and monitors."
From the looks of things, it should work as long as the top of your external display is flat enough for the mount to attach to it.
The mount works with any MagSafe-compatible iPhone and enables the iPhone to be placed in both portrait and landscape orientations.
After it's mounted, it can be used as a FaceTime camera or with other video apps like Zoom and Teams. Crucially, the mount was designed to work well Continuity Camera features like Centre Stage and Desk View.
We had a quick look at it recently at CES 2023 and although this video shows the MacBook version being demonstrated, the Mac desktops and displays version should work similarly.

Continuity Camera is a new feature that comes with iOS 16 and macOS Ventura and it was announced earlier this year at WWDC 2022.
Finally, the mount can also be attached to any tripod using a 1/4-inch tripod screw.
Availability and pricing
The Belkin iPhone Mount with MagSafe for Mac desktops and displays is available in the US now and is priced at US$39.95 (~S$54.22).
We've heard that the mount will be available locally by the end of this year. Pricing has yet to be confirmed but we will update this article once we know more.
