Battle at Big Rock sets up the next Jurassic World movie in a big way
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom ended with a child making an incredibly ill-advised decision: letting all the dinosaurs of Jurassic World out into the world for good. Battle at Big Rock, a short set in the Jurassic World universe, shows us what that world is like.
This short film is directed by Colin Trevorrow, who also directed the first Jurassic World and will direct the next and last film in the trilogy. Battle at Big Rock premiered first on FX on Sunday, but is now free to watch for everyone on Youtube. Check it out below:
Dinosaurs are set to rule the world again! In this short, a family decides to take a camping trip in Big Rock National Park - an astonishingly poor idea, since they already know that dinosaurs have been set loose everywhere. Predictably, their trip doesn’t quite go as planned, and they have to fight off some very hungry dinos.
Battle at Big Rock stars AndrĂ© Holland, Natalie Martinez, Melody Hurd and Pierson Salvador. Don’t skip out on the credits either: they tease more events like this happening all around the world, and will almost certainly be the basis for the next Jurassic World movie.
