Bang & Olufsen Unveils Limited Edition BeoVision 10-46 Chanterelle TV

Remember the extraordinarily expensive BeoVision 10? We are not referring to Anglo-Saxon literature, but Bang & Olufsen's resident flagship HDTV. One that's easily recognized by a few signature traits, such as its clean glass face, slender aluminium frame and fabric loudspeaker grille. And if polished chrome doesn't bode well for your interior works, we've just gotten word that the Danish AV manufacturer has released a champagne-gold version of the 46-inch BeoVision 10.

Affectionately dubbed as the "Chanterelle" after its color scheme, the limited edition BeoVision 10-46 can also be complemented by the BeoLab 6002 floor-standing speakers and an "easel" stand. And the tagline should give you a hint that these babies are only available in limited quantities, with only 500 sets to go around worldwide. Specs wise, this TV offers a Full-HD panel with edge LED backlights and a 200/240Hz refresh rate. The price list is not for the fainthearted though, for you'll need to fork out £7,400 for the "Chanterelle", £2,600 for the BeoLab 6002 Chanterelle speaker, and £360 for the easel stand. Ouch!
