Bamford has worked with G-Shock on a new watch. If you have been collecting G-Shocks for a while, you'll know how big of a deal this is.

The new watch is the Bamford x G-Shock DW-6900BWD-1, which takes the ever-popular and classic DW-6900 and gives it a Bamford twist.

Essentially, it's a black DW-6900 but decorated in three varying shades of Bamford's signature aqua blue. The text on the case and dial are rendered in blue, and so is the underside of the strap. The EL backlight is also in the shade of Bamford's signature blue.

Functionally, this watch is the same as any other DW-6900. This means it is highly resistant to shocks, has 200 metres of water resistance, and has chronograph and alarm capabilities.

The watch will come in a special Bamford x G-Shock case that is, you guessed it, in black and blue.

Regardless of your thoughts about the black and blue colourway (I think it's very nice), this watch is going to sell out quickly. It sold out in minutes the moment it was launched in the UK. It will likely do the same here too.

The Bamford x G-Shock DW-6900BWD-1 is priced at S$239 and pre-orders will begin on 10 August 2022, 11am on the G-Shock SG website for Casio ID members.

Unsurprisingly, pre-orders were sold out within minutes of its launch. If you missed it, the watch will be available in retail on 16 August 2022.
